Brief biography: Born in Seversk
After graduation from secondary school No. 197 served in the Army. Having completed his term of service, returned to his region, worked and went to university. Has a university degree. Started his career as a journalist in newspapers “Novoe Vremya” and “Dialog”. Worked for more than 10 years with Seversk TV Company (ST-7). Created and hosted TV shows such as “City. People. Facts”, “Burning Commentary”, “Deputy Context”.
Since 1995 – member of the Russian Union of Journalists. Currently works as an independent journalist with the mass media of Seversk and Tomsk. Together with Olga Ermolova, chief editor of the city radio, hosts the radio show “Journalist’s Consultation” – a project by the Seversk Office of the Russian Union of Journalists – and the radio show “Open Mic”.
2005-2010 – deputy of the Seversk Duma of the first convocation elected in constituency No. 3. In
October 2010, was re-elected deputy of the Seversk Duma of the second convocation in the same constituency.
