The Legislative Duma of Tomsk Oblast
21.12.09 German Consul General in Novosibirsk thanked Duma Speaker Gudrun Steinacker, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Novosibirsk thanked Boris Maltsev, Speaker of the Tomsk Oblast State Duma, for the meeting held on December 11. In her letter Mrs. Steinacker expressed her special appreciation to the Speaker for a very interesting narration about the history of the Tomsk Oblast State Duma and Siberia on the whole.
‘I have learned much of Tomsk and Tomsk Oblast. I understand that during a day and a half visit to Tomsk one can only get a superficial impression of the city. Therefore I pin great hopes to the chance to get to know Tomsk in more detail during my next visit. I would like once again to assure you, Mr. Maltsev, that the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Novosibirsk is at your disposal and will exert every effort to enhance our cooperation through joint efforts with German cultural, scientific and economic organizations.’
