The Legislative Duma of Tomsk Oblast
May 12, 2010. Pooling of experience among IT specialists
One-day training was held in the Tomsk Oblast State Duma for the deputies, public officers of legislative establishments of the RF regional public authorities with the agenda IT Development to Secure Legislative Activity of the Tomsk Oblast State Duma.
Public officers of establishments in regional parliaments had a chance to listen to the specialists from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Tomsk, ask them the questions they were interested in. In particular, the training in the Oblast Duma involved representatives of Novosibirsk Oblast Council of Deputies, People’s Khural of the Buryat Republic, El Kurultai of the Altai Republic, the Legislative Assembly of the Zabaikalye Territory, the Tyumen Oblast Duma, the Legislative Assembly of the Altai Territory, the Magadan Oblast Duma.
The plenary part of the training was opened by Grigory Shamin, Deputy Chairman of the Tomsk Oblast State Duma. He outlined the magnitude of the agenda saying that the transparency of the representative authority to the voters is of great importance today. Mr. Shamin wished the participants success in their work, new experience, ideas and friends.
The event was split into three sections:
- Electronic document management, issues of integration and security.
- Web-site of an authority.
- State-of-the-art technologies to secure activity of the authorities.
The plenary session was broadcast online.
