08.06.09 Aleksey Didenko, deputy of the Tomsk Oblast State Duma took part in the meeting of President Medvedev
with the members of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia
 The meeting took place on May 28 and crowned the series of the Russian President’s workshops with the parties represented in the Duma.
As Mr. Didenko said, he had an informal talk with the President after the meeting.
‘We talked about standardization of criteria and procedures for the activity of party factions in regional legislative assemblies. On the one hand, according to the federal law, a deputy elected from party lists must go into the relevant faction. On the other hand, there is no notion of ‘faction’ as such and it should be defined by law. Another subject we discussed was unemployment among the youth. In my view, we need a special analytical center which would monitor the demand for personnel and forecast demand a couple of years ahead to make it easier for students to plan for the future. I also thanked Mr. Medvedev for assistance in the search for a primary sponsor for the Football Club ‘Tom’. This issue is very important for Tomsk, I am a football fan and I understand that Tomsk citizens could have never seen professional football had Tom not joined the Premier League.’
Mr. Didenko also pointed out that he is taking part in an open discussion between the members of the Duma parties scheduled for June 16 in the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, where he will represent Tomsk Oblast in the capacity of the coordinator of the Regional Department of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia.
