May 13, 2009. Nellya Gudantseva, a deputy of the Tomsk Oblast State Duma,
joined the Russian Volunteer Team for 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver
She was selected as the best of the best candidates in a contest providing a comprehensive and unbiased evaluation of personal and professional qualities of volunteers to meet the demands of the 2010
Olympic Games in Vancouver. The candidates were evaluated by independent experts and employees of the independent non-profit organization Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee who deal with the Games personnel.
Before the trip members of the Russian Volunteer Team will be announced in Moscow during one of the events dedicated to the Year of the Youth in Russia in June 2009. At the same time the Team will be invited to take part in the events held to celebrate the Year of the Youth as volunteers, and also will take part in two trainings to get prepared to the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.
