The web site of Tomsk Oblast State Duma has become one of the three best web sites of public legislative authorities of the Russian Federation entities in 2007 for the quality of informational content, convenient interface and attractive design.

The competition embraced 54 web sites of public legislative authorities. It demonstrated new achievements in the development of the information society, results of the efforts to enhance efficiency of public authorities, their transparency for the society and civil responsibility, said the organizers of the competition, the Federation Council of the RF Federal Assembly.

This year the official web site of Tomsk Oblast State Duma is 8 years old. In 2007 the site underwent some changes - English version of the web site was added as well as new chapters in the Russian version.

The web site of Tomsk Oblast State Duma contains over 9,000 pages, around 800 Мb of information, it is among the most frequently visited Internet-resources of Tomsk Oblast. In the rating of the web sites about legislative authorities compiled according to the citation index by a popular Russian searcher Yandex, the web site of the Oblast Duma holds the 13th position leaving behind 118 web sites of Russia and near abroad countries.
