The Tomsk delegation came back from Singapore


On July 19, 2007 the Tomsk delegation came back from Singapore.
Governor of the Tomsk Oblast Victor Kress headed the delegation, Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the committee on economic policy Alexander Kupriyanetz represented the State Duma of the Tomsk Oblast.

The Tomsk people planned to meet with the Singapore minister of trade and industry, to get acquainted with the work of the city management, its economic development, to visit the Agency on science and technology and Singapore National university. The guests wanted to know in more detail about the mechanisms of investments’ attraction into the SEZ, about the investment abilities of Singaporeans, and to meet with the business elite of the country. The visit was made in the frame work of the development and strengthening of the relationship between the Tomsk Oblast and the republic of Singapore.
