Legislative Duma of Tomsk Oblast awarded German surgeon Paul Edelmann

A well-known in Tomsk German surgeon, Professor and Director of Frankfurt Clinic of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Paul Edelmann was awarded Tomsk Award Pin Mercy and Charity. He regularly visits Tomsk to operate on children born with inborn maxillofacial defects such as cleft lip and palate, and correct dysmelia and trauma effects free of charge.

“On behalf of our citizens we express gratitude to such people for their unconditional and sincere aid,” said Duma Speaker Boris Maltsev, “and I am sure that there will be even more of them as in Tomsk Oblast we have many people who are willing to share their compassion and generosity.”
