Tomsk Oblast Governor met with Algerian Ambassador Smail Chergui

The Ambassador found many similarities in the structures of the Russian and Algerian economies as they both rely on oil and gas industry. Mr Chergui suggested making Tomsk the twin town of an Algerian city.

The Governor Viktor Kress backed the town-twinning proposal and made a point of exchange and training possibilities for oil and gas professionals in the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University.
