took part in the session of Legislators' Council
Boris Maltsev, Speaker of Tomsk Oblast State Duma, took part in the session of Legislators' Council dedicated to legislative support for economic and social recovery measures in the RF constituent entities.
The session was presided over by the President of the RF Dmitry Medvedev. Among the crisis management measures the President mentioned regional laws amending, public expenditures optimizing and managerial personnel cost cutting. The Legislators' Council Presidium, where Boris Maltsev was reelected to, discussed the results of the Kremlin meeting.
The Legislators' Council Presidium backed the proposal of Tomsk Duma Speaker to establish a Labor Market Commission attached to Legislators' Council. According to Boris Maltsev, this could be a real chance to improve the situation development at the local levels. Moreover, the Speaker took the lead of the task group developing amendments to the federal legislation, which could foster development of small and medium business, as well as facilitate more efficient use of forest and water resources.
